Spring 2012 OLIS-LORI Delivery Items Count Results

About the Survey

LORI libraries statewide participated in the biannual Delivery Items Count in March 2012. 187 library facilities that receive regular OLIS-LORI Delivery services recorded and reported their out-going item counts. The survey took place from February 26 through March 3, 2012, with 96% of network libraries participating. All together, 52,398 items were transported in the LORI Delivery system during the week.

Survey results provide OLIS with valuable insight into the trends of Rhode Island’s resource sharing activities. OLIS uses the information to plan for the future of this vital service to the state’s libraries.
